Don't let the short runtime fool you — both stories lean hard into uncomfortable territory, each with a very different flavor of drama. The first follows Yuki, a high school girl in a secret relationship with her teacher, Mr. Tanaka. It plays the romance mostly straight, exploring the tension and emotional weight that comes with that kind of forbidden dynamic. The second shifts gears entirely: Aiko loses her parents and suddenly finds herself being exploited by people who know she's desperate to keep the family business alive. Her brother Hiro is trying to get her out of that situation, and that conflict carries most of the episode's emotional weight.
