Episode Context

Positioned exactly at the series' midpoint, this episode arrives after the emotionally charged conclusion of the elementary school arc and serves as a deliberate pause before Sana and Akito enter the middle school storyline. Following the events of 'Through the Tears, Spring Comes,' it consolidates the emotional journey so far before the narrative shifts tone and raises new stakes. Consider it a threshold moment, the show acknowledging how far its characters have come before pushing them forward.
