A worldbuilding episode this time, we get more answers from other mysterious goals from Kobayashi as the Immortal Ship Council is now basically gone. The friendship between the knights of Sidonia also gets some highlights, especially the bonds between En, Tsumugi, Nagate, and Izana, too.
This episode makes clear that there are some very strange happenings on the ship politically, and indicates some disturbing truths about Tsumugi's creation. Exciting and suspenseful, particularly at the end, but a very interesting and engaging watch overall.
