Episode Context

Coming directly off Episode 8's disturbing introduction of human experimentation and Schreient's emergence, this episode escalates that conflict into something more personal and ideologically charged. It deepens the shadow cast by the Takatori family's schemes while forcing both Weiß and Schreient to confront what they're actually fighting for. The groundwork laid here feeds directly into Episode 10, 'Bruder - Bond of Darkness,' where darker loyalties and bonds are put to the test.
