Arriving just after 'Verrat - Execution of Betrayal' shook the team's foundations, this episode uses the aftermath to peel back Ken's history and establish what drives him. At episode five of twenty-five, Weiß Kreuz is still in its early world-building phase, and 'Schicksal' does meaningful groundwork, seeding character dynamics and personal stakes that will ripple through future missions as the season's larger threats come into focus.
