Kitarou Tanjou: Gegege no Nazo

The year is Showa 31 (1956), and Nagura Village is under the iron grip of the Ryuga family, who wield significant influence over Japan's political and financial spheres. Mizuki, an employee of the Imperial Blood Bank, enters the village under the guise of mourning the family head's death, harboring ambitions and a clandestine mission. Unbeknownst to Mizuki, Kitaro's father also arrives in Nagura Village, driven by the desperate search for his wife. Within the Ryuga family's opulent yet treacherous domain, a brutal battle for succession has erupted, setting the stage for conflict and intrigue. The fates of Mizuki, Kitaro's father, and the Ryuga family become intertwined in this setting of secrets and power struggles.
