Episode Context

Coming off an episode centered on Erina's romantic storyline, the series pivots here to Seiji, using a comedic premise to excavate more serious questions about his family life and the pressures idols carry offstage. This episode functions as a character-building bridge, enriching Seiji's personal history ahead of what the arc signals as an incoming wave of new antagonistic forces. At episode 85 of 153, the series is well into its middle stretch, and these character-focused installments are doing the foundational work for escalating conflicts to come.
