Episode Context

Sitting at the exact midpoint of the 26-episode season, this episode serves as a critical pivot from the battlefield intensity of the preceding episodes, including the coordinated assault on Wei's main camp in 'Age of Giants', toward the political consequences those victories create. It reorients the narrative toward Xianyang and the internal dynamics of Qin's power structure. This transition directly sets up 'A New Nation,' where court-level conflicts and emerging alliances will reshape the season's trajectory heading into its second half.
