Episode Context

Episode 7 pivots sharply from episode 6's focus on internal trust and unity among Qin's leadership to confront the external, historically rooted threats that complicate the campaign. By grounding the conflict in the legacy of the Battle of Changping, it adds emotional and strategic layers that directly set the stage for episode 8, 'Wa Lin, the Military Genius,' where the battlefield's complexity demands sharper tactical minds. Sitting in the first quarter of this 26-episode season, this episode marks the transition from setup to the deeper, more dangerous phase of the war.
