EPISODE REVIEWS

Seriously, the strategy here? Chef's kiss tbh. li Mu's night tactics were so brutal, and those new commanders, they were seriously dangerous. I mean, watching Xin get pushed to his limitts against that speed was insane. this is how you do mature shonen, adventure and high stakes

Episode Context

Positioned at episode 20 of 26, 'The First Night' marks the transition from political rallying and recruitment into the opening phase of what promises to be the season's climactic military confrontation between Qin and Zhao. The previous episode delivered King Zheng's pivotal appeal to Zui's civilians, and this episode capitalizes on that momentum by grounding the newly assembled forces in the reality of impending war. It sets the stage for what should be an extended battle sequence across the season's final stretch.
