Episode Context

Sitting at the exact midpoint of the 26-episode season, episode 12 follows the trials established in 'A General's Pride' and pushes the Qin military campaign into higher-stakes territory as battlefield dynamics shift in unpredictable ways. This episode serves as a critical bridge, escalating the conflict directly into episode 13, 'The Strongest,' which promises to test the Qin army's resolve even further. It's a pivotal momentum-builder in the season's larger wartime arc, where the consequences of each tactical decision compound heading into the back half.
