King's Game

The anime centers on a high school class of 32 students who become unwilling participants in a deadly game. Each student receives messages on their cellphones from an entity known only as the "King." These messages contain specific orders that the students are compelled to follow. Failure to comply with the King's demands results in the ultimate punishment: death. As the game progresses, the orders become increasingly extreme and dangerous, forcing the students to confront difficult choices and the fragility of their own lives. The series explores themes of survival, obedience, and the lengths people will go to when faced with a life-or-death situation, all within the confines of their high school setting.
