Episode Context

Sitting at episode 17 of 49, this installment arrives on the heels of 'Demon of Midday,' which pushed 3G against a particularly punishing adversary. 'That Which Controls Space' responds to that encounter by escalating the technological arms race at the heart of the series. It directly sets up 'A Promise is the Other's Light,' signaling a pivot toward deeper character development and the formation of new alliances as the season moves into its second third.
