I'm still very consistent with how I feel about this season of GaoGaiGar and it pretty much kind of cements the entire series as one of my favorite mecha series of all time, though mostly just referring to this one outside of the other Braves titles which I will eventually touch on watching. Other than that, this was a great episode and it made me realize that they're really not leaving any dead time or drag on certain events when it comes to efficiently telling the story. You get a complete package without having to deal with filler at all. Compared to the previous episode, this one kind of shows itself as some chill and relaxed episode somewhere in between, but it then hits you with a realization that the story is ramping up to something deeper as the wheel gradually keeps turning. I might have to revisit and watch the first season again to appreciate this even more.

Good way to start on Renee's backstory. This episode is a mystery and makes me angry at some point. It was confusing at first but then something happened. Renee and her enemy's action scene was intense. A lot of unexpected things happened in this episode.

This is the type of episode that gives you goosebumps over and over again because of the sheer purity of its heroism.
