EPISODE REVIEWS

The mix of comedy and aftermath reflection worked better than expected. The animation stays consistent with some nice expressive reactions, and overall it’s a solid episode.

Episode Context

Coming off the Rindou Brothers confrontation in Episode 8, this episode focuses on the fallout rather than the fight itself, a deliberate deceleration that deepens Juuzou's ongoing struggle to reclaim his original form. At Episode 9 of 12, the season is entering its final stretch, meaning the consequences explored here are laying direct groundwork for the endgame. Whatever choices Juuzou makes in the aftermath will likely define the shape of the finale.
