The mix of comedy and aftermath reflection worked better than expected. The animation stays consistent with some nice expressive reactions, and overall it’s a solid episode.

A serious fight turns into a comedic chaos. This is a fun, hilarious, and exciting episode. And Noren's reaction to Ogami is so funny. Moreover, Tenma's blunt attitude also adds to the humor of this episode.

I really love the comedic writing here. I keep expecting something serious, but they're acting way too goofy, LOL! And my favorite scene is how Ogami dealt with Noren. That's super practical, LMAO! On another note, I don't mention it much, but I actually like the visuals a lot. To be fair, they can look a bit over the top, but that's what makes them so fun to watch!

Tenma's fight wasn't as exciting as Ogami was but it is still entertaining. It looks like everything is resolved but with strings attached 🤭.  I'm quite curious about what's going to happen with Ogami now that there's a rather problematic case with Noren after the incident.

I like how they just collect the enemies and add them to the ongoing plot, and it’s a surprise that they made it so hypnosis didn’t work on tenma good to see them keeping the bond

Decent episode with strong chaos energy, but it’s more about aftermath comedy and emotional fallout than deep plot advancement. Fun and a bit unbalanced, but entertaining <3

Yeah there’s definitely more focus on consequences and character dynamics than actual new story progression here. It’s more about what happens after everything breaks

The aftermath is where things get more interesting. Instead of just ending the conflict cleanly, it spirals into awkward, emotional, and slightly unhinged character reactions that shift the vibe hard.

I cannot believe Ogami just neck chopped Noren to stop her from confessing her love and it was the funniest thing this week

Tenma really pulled off that Super Gyro Spin and the animation for the blue aura was so clean

Kazuma trying and failing to hypnotize Tenma with a lighter over and over again was the funniest thing this week and the way Tenma just stared at him with that deadpan face was perfect

The tonal shift from a high-stakes battle to Noren waking up with heart-eyes for Ogami was actually hilarious and it makes the school scenes so much better now. I feel bad for Tenma having to watch his crush go full clingy mode on his rival but Ogami standing there looking confused while she grabbed his arm was pure comedy gold.

Tenma hitting that Super Gyro Spin was the highlight of the stadium fight and the blue aura on the soccer ball looked so clean when it finally drilled through Eiji's golf ball wall

Watching the ramen shop dream transition into those detailed scenes of them eating at the counter was surprisingly cozy before everything went back to being a total disaster at the stadium

Eiji using a drawing pad and crayons to explain why he had to keep fighting was weirdly touching, especially when his sketches turned dark to show his loyalty to Kazuma.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off the Rindou Brothers confrontation in Episode 8, this episode focuses on the fallout rather than the fight itself, a deliberate deceleration that deepens Juuzou's ongoing struggle to reclaim his original form. At Episode 9 of 12, the season is entering its final stretch, meaning the consequences explored here are laying direct groundwork for the endgame. Whatever choices Juuzou makes in the aftermath will likely define the shape of the finale.
