Episode Context

Episode 11 'The First Hitman Summit' laid the groundwork for Mai Otohime's arrival and the shifting dynamics around Juuzou, making this finale a direct continuation of those threads. Episode 12 channels that setup into personal and comedic territory, giving the season a reflective send-off rather than a hard resolution. It closes on forward momentum, establishing a new competition on the horizon that signals where Season 2 would pick things up.
