Episode 8 is the direct continuation and conclusion of 'Toyland,' the two-part story that begins in Episode 7 — marking a significant tonal shift from the standalone cases of File 1 and File 2. After seven episodes of episodic, procedural storytelling, this finale consolidates the series' stakes and delivers the dramatic payoff the whole run has been building toward. As the last of eight episodes, it closes out the EZY series entirely rather than setting up a next chapter.
