Episode Context

Sitting at the season's midpoint, this episode builds directly on the formal introduction of the Eight Fists of Ragnarok and pivots from external threats to internal fallout, exploring what happens to those who defect. It deepens the personal stakes for Takeda and Ukita while establishing Kisara as a significant antagonist. The groundwork laid here feeds directly into the escalating Ragnarok conflicts that will dominate the back half of the series.
