Kemonokko Tsuushin: The Animation
Oshimeter
Synopsis
All Hiro Kuroda really wants is to grow taller, but he can't stand milk — a pretty relatable problem until a mysterious app on his phone accidentally summons an anthropomorphic cowgirl named Bell from another world. Yeah, it goes exactly where you think it does. This ONA, based on a manga, leans fully into its premise without pretending to be anything it's not. Bell ends up working as a farmer in Hiro's world, and the two develop a bond that quickly moves beyond just friendship. When Bell decides to help Hiro with his height problem by offering him her own special brand of milk, the show commits to its absurd setup with zero hesitation. The anthropomorphic character designs are genuinely distinct — Bell's cowgirl look has personality to it, and the fantasy-meets-smartphone-app framing gives it a modern isekai-adjacent twist. If you've been through Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou and want something that drops the comedy pretense and gets straight to the point, this is that. Fans of Isekai Meikyuu de Harem wo will recognize the vibe of a regular guy suddenly paired with a fantasy girl in intimate circumstances. The tone is pretty straightforward and engaging without dragging things out across dozens of episodes. It's a short watch that knows its audience and delivers on the interspecies relationship angle without a lot of filler getting in the way.
