The comedy stays fun, and the characters become more interesting. Things are still random at times, but it has enough laughs to keep you watching.

Time to meet the family! Episode 2 slows down just enough to give the Kobayashi family some welcome attention, balancing the series' manic humor with everyday interactions. A few quieter moments help flesh out Sanpeita's home life before the comedy inevitably ramps back up, making the cast feel more rounded without losing the show's offbeat charm.
