Working as a security guard at a department store, a man with even sharper instincts than his already keen eye has figured out a system: catch shoplifters on camera, then use that footage as leverage. It's morally questionable from the first minute, and the show leans into that tension rather than shying away from it. The setup is grounded in something uncomfortably real — surveillance, power imbalances, and what happens when someone with access to private information decides to use it for personal gain. Based on a visual novel by Interheart, this 3-episode OVA from studio Arms doesn't try to be subtle about what it is, but there's a consistent throughline around the ethics of watching, recording, and controlling people that gives it more structure than you might expect. The pacing is tight given the short runtime, and the premise does enough work to keep things from feeling random. If you've watched Jitaku Keibiin or its follow-ups and want something with a similar dynamic around surveillance and authority, Keibiin covers some of that same ground in a more contained package. It's a product of its era — early 2000s production, visual novel roots — so go in with calibrated expectations. It won't change your life, but if the premise sounds like your kind of thing, it delivers on what it's setting up without much padding.
