Episode Context

As the 36th and final episode, 'The Curtain Falls' directly follows Episode 35's pivotal confrontation between Masaru and Faceless, picking up at the absolute peak of the series' tension. This episode exists solely to resolve the central conflicts that have driven the entire adaptation, the fates of the automata, the Nakamachi Circus troupe, and the deeply entangled destinies of its core cast. It serves as the definitive conclusion with no continuation, making it the payoff for every arc that preceded it.
