Episode Context

Picking up directly from 'Pietà' and the desperate push to stop Faceless's endgame, episode 31 escalates the conflict as the Nakamachi Circus members engage automata in a pivotal battle sequence aboard a train. This episode bridges the immediate chaos of the shuttle boarding attempt with the emotional fallout explored in the following episode, 'Valediction.' With only five episodes remaining, it marks a critical turning point where supporting characters are given defining moments before the series races toward its conclusion.
