The art style was updated from the manga but it brought a tear to my eye to see this masterpiece animated.

Episode Context

As the first of 36 episodes, this premiere carries the full burden of world-building, character introductions, and establishing the central conflict surrounding Masaru Saiga, Narumi Katou, and Shirogane. It lays the foundation for what becomes a sprawling narrative blending action, puppetry-driven mystery, and layered character dynamics. Everything introduced here, the alliances, the threats, the unanswered questions, serves as the launchpad for the arcs that will unfold across the entire season.
