Kanzen Mushuusei: Sorezore no Houkago
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Miki, Misaki, Nagisa, and Nanao are four high school girls navigating the usual after-school blur of boredom and curiosity, but things take a sharp turn when their choices lead them into situations that are way over their heads. One girl gets caught alone at a teacher's desk. Two others find themselves in an arrangement with an older man that starts feeling less casual and more complicated the longer it goes on. The setup is deliberately uncomfortable, and that tension is kind of the point. This is a one-episode OVA from 2002, based on a manga, so it moves fast and doesn't waste time on buildup — you're dropped straight into the situations and left to sit with the weight of what these characters are getting themselves into. The psychological undercurrent is what gives it some staying power beyond the obvious. These aren't just scenarios playing out — there's a persistent question hanging over everything about whether these girls fully understand the dynamics at play. If you've watched something like Bible Black or Discipline and appreciated when the genre tries to add a layer of character tension rather than just skipping straight to the surface, this scratches a similar itch. It's short, it's bleak in spots, and it doesn't really offer easy resolutions. Probably not your entry point into the genre, but if you're already familiar with this style of adult OVA and want something with a slightly more grounded school-setting tone, it holds up.
