Episode Context

Positioned at episode nine of thirteen, this episode follows 'Girl's Prison,' which pushed Mai's emotional arc into sharp relief, and now redirects attention toward the broader emotional landscape of the series' other key characters. It functions as a deliberate breather and bridge, deepening character foundations before the narrative accelerates into 'The Winter Fireworks' and the stretch run of the season.
