Episode Context

As episode 1 of 13, this is the series' entry point with nothing preceding it. 'The Girl of Snow' lays the structural groundwork for Kanon's central conceit. Yuuichi's fragmented memory and the significance of the people he encounters as those memories resurface. The character and relationship dynamics introduced here, particularly with Nayuki and Ayu, will become load-bearing pillars as the season progresses into deeper individual arcs.
