my fav is definitely gujo and seeing all this angsty yuri just makes my heart feel so full (SORRY). that line about asking her to go to the sea with her felt exactly like a beautiful new way to confess. the only thing missing is some good masc representation since everyone is just so incredibly femme not that i hate it
the art direction continues to be absolutely beautiful. furthermore the opening sequence is crafted with such high visual fidelity that it commands attention every single week. utilizing high level metaphors to frame the internal psychological conflicts while the cast discusses old indie films establishes a remarkably cultured narrative tone.
Watching these college kids talk literally feels exactly like just staring at my own friend group. The realistic conflicts and pain points are actually so extremely well written the way it feels so relatable. crazy how i can understand their characters so well, call me empath atp
