Synopsis
Anonymous love letters are Nonoka Nonoura's solution to her feelings for Ryutaro Takizawa, the older brother of her classmate. His response? Complete indifference. So she decides to drop the anonymity and confront him directly, which kicks off a series of awkward, charged interactions between two people who clearly have feelings they're not great at expressing cleanly. That push-pull energy — affection hiding behind sarcasm and deflection — is the whole engine of this series, and the special packaged with DVD Volume 3 continues that dynamic in a more intimate setting. The tsundere archetype gets a lot of play here, and if that kind of "I definitely don't like you" tension is your thing, this delivers it in a compact, no-filler format. The tone mixes light comedy with genuinely heated moments, set against ordinary school life, which keeps things grounded rather than melodramatic. It's adapted from a manga, so the character dynamics feel thought-out rather than improvised. If you've watched Kiss x Sis or Yosuga no Sora and appreciate stories that lean into complicated attraction between people in close proximity, this fits that same niche. Fans of Eromanga Sensei who enjoy the awkward-meets-intimate blend will also find familiar ground. At a single episode runtime, it's essentially a bonus scene for people already invested in these characters rather than a standalone entry point, so starting with the main series first makes the most sense.
