One of my pet peeves has always been the protagonist being too kind to their bullies, but when the moment came that they need support, they never once express regret or apologies for their past actions and words. So it's GREAT that Kakuriyo did not follow that troupe entirely.

I feel Aoi's kindness really is her greatest strength. Whether human or ayakashi, she somehow manages to earn everyone's trust. The pacing felt a little slow but the usual atmosphere was still there. Nene's friendship with her is adorable though Oryou showing up definitely made things more tense.
