The way the anime keeps us waiting for the next plot point while building tension makes us wonder how he did it.

To see Kaiji to obtained comrades in the hell he was plunge into make me want to support him with all my might. He definitely grow in this episode as he become more matured than the last episode where he just seems like more a beginner.
