Fantastic

Another banger EP from this anime! The character dynamic between our main couple still hits with their comedic timing and big brain antics. I really like their characters especially Chika, being so ignorant around them.

Episode Context

Episode 2 builds directly on the premiere's establishment of the core dynamic, Kaguya and Shirogane's mutual pride preventing any honest emotional progress, and begins expanding the comedic toolkit by introducing new everyday battlegrounds. It deepens Fujiwara's role as an unpredictable disruptor while reinforcing the status quo that the rest of the season will gradually chip away at. This early stretch lays essential groundwork for the escalating situations and subtle character development that define the back half of the season.
