To be completely honest, this is the relation I thought Sarasa and Akira would've had, but instead we're served the romance right here, as Kaoru's backstory. Kaoru's character is portrayed beautifully, complimented by Rikuto's story. And that ending is surprisingly really sweet, I do hope we'll see the two of them interact again!

This ep is a total gut-punch and Kaoru’s backstory is honestly so relatable. We finally get the lore and character depth needed to understand her drive and why she’s so guarded at Kouka.
