This episode gave such an interesting premise for the ending of the show where we get to see the first year try to get a part of a play. Seeing them wallow in their doubt, and having a moment of clarity is interesting. The visual at the end during Ai's audition play was awestruck, even if they're reused animation, it was timed perfectly. And also, prop to Sarasa's VA for having such wide range when trying to find the right way to show her auditioned character.

First year has an audition for their festival performance. 🎭✨ Everyone became tense and competitive. 😰🔥 They were already nervous, but Mr. Ando made it worse. 😅Overall — tense, drama, 7/10.

This ep is a total masterclass in tension and Ai’s past is honestly heartbreaking. We finally get the backstory and character depth needed to understand why she’s so guarded, and that confrontation was intense.
