Such a peculiar start for an anime! The 3D-like animation felt rather unsettling for me. Being it a first episode, there remains many queries among the audience. It uses a mild pace and an extreme element of foreshadowing. Character introductions were also abrupt here.

I had high expectations about this anime and the first episode accomplished that. The cinematic and the pacing was perfect, giving us enough mystery to keep watching for the next episodes. Strong start!

A strong start. The landing of the Kado is cinematic and full of mystery. Shindo's skills in negotiating with an alien entity are top-tier. Perfect pacing and the sci-fi elements are hooking. A masterclass in the first episodes.
