Junjou Shoujo Et Cetera
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Collected here are two high school stories and one adult OVA — and they go in pretty different directions from each other. The first follows Yuuto, a chronic womanizer who meets Konomi, a genuinely shy new transfer student. His usual playboy routine doesn't quite work on her the way it does with everyone else, and that throws him off more than he expects. It's a familiar setup but the character dynamic has enough texture to keep it interesting. The second story is weirder and more ambitious: Rumi uses something called a 'Trans-Hole' device to get intimate with strangers over voice chat — basically cybersex taken to a strangely physical place. It's a surprisingly thoughtful look at what connection and vulnerability mean when technology is doing the heavy lifting. Both stories are adapted from Miyabi's manga, and the source material shows — there's actual character work here, not just setup-payoff loops. If you've seen something like Shoujo Sect: Innocent Lovers and appreciated that it bothered to develop its characters before anything else, this has a similar sensibility. The two-episode format means neither story overstays its welcome, and the tonal contrast between them — sweet and nostalgic versus clinical and strange — makes for an oddly cohesive watch. It's short, it's from Studio 1st, and it's clearly aimed at a specific audience, but within that space it does more than the bare minimum.
