The moment Yuji lands his first Black Flash on Hanami is insane, but what makes it hit harder is how the entire fight shifts afterward. The tag‑team choreography with Todo is ridiculously fluid, the mid‑battle “brotherhood” fist bump, the perfectly timed Boogie Woogie swaps, the way they pressure Hanami from every angle. MAPPA goes insane with the visuals. This is the episode in my opinion where Yuji stops feeling like a rookie and starts feeling like a real problem. One of my personal favorite episodes to rewatch when in a slump.

The duo we never knew we needed! Who would've thought Itadori and Todo would be be such a powerful duo, leaning on each others strength and fighting so beautifully with Hanami.

And to be honest it's also lovely to cursed spirit like Hanami, it shows another side of the collective of cursed spirit and their individual goals that has ultimately brought them together.

Todo steals the episode without even trying. His "What kind of women do you like?" question shouldn't work mid-fight, but it does so smooth. The chemistry with Yuji turns a great fight into a legendary one. Pure hype with actual character payoff.

A powerfull enemy is here now, I think this is the first time that we gotta see Fushiguro having some troubles. I love the guy with the word power Inumaki is totally insane.

Nobara’s straw doll and nail visuals? Popped off. Animation on the resonance effects sharp af. Atmosphere fierce and stylish. Her technique creative and powerful, she ate.

It really highlights the strong bond between Itadori and Todo, allowing them to keep up with the powerful Special Grade Hanami. Action and animation are top-notch.

Easily one of the most satisfying episodes in the season. The action, pacing, and emotional payoff all line up perfectly. It feels like everything the arc has been building toward finally clicks here.

Now this is a perfectly paced episode. If you’re short on time, this is a great pick because it’s well-balanced. It's aggressive and very straightfoward. The fight is staged perfectly I can't see anything wrong with it, it's a lovely episode.

Yuji shows impressive power growth in this episode! The speed at which he’s improving is incredible, and Aoi clearly plays a big role in it. Their chemistry is so strong that I really want more episodes focused on them. I’m excited to see of what more they can do.

Black Flash debut! The visual impact of the red and black sparks is a total production flex. Watching Todo "coach" Yuji mid-battle against a Special Grade is a massive W. The synergy between them is peak choreography. 10/10 hype.

This is probably the best action shonen out there currently and this is totally a perfect 10/10 episode... the best part about it is how it respects the phrase 'hype anime' meaning i like how it is satisfyingly 50% insane action and 50% pure comedy it has with Todo and Yuji.

Episode 19 is pure adrenaline. Yuji pushes his limits, and the Black Flash moment hits like a punch to the gut. The fight choreography is crisp, the tension never drops, and you really feel the stakes of the supernatural world.
