Focuses on transformation—both literal and thematic—while deepening the arc’s darkness. The tone is unsettling.

Episode Context

Positioned as the penultimate stretch of the Shibuya Incident with only two episodes left in the season, 'Metamorphosis' builds directly on the escalating conflicts of 'Right and Wrong 3' and channels them into transformative character moments. This episode serves as a critical bridge, deepening the consequences of battles already fought while setting the stage for 'Transformation 2,' which continues exploring the fallout of characters evolving, or breaking, under the arc's relentless pressure. At episode 21 of 23, the season is in full endgame mode.
