Sitting at the midpoint of a 23-episode season, 'Seance' follows 'Pandemonium,' where the sorcerers devised their plan to dismantle the barrier trapping Gojo, and now transitions into direct, high-stakes engagement with the curse users maintaining it. This episode represents a critical escalation within the Shibuya Incident arc, pushing the ensemble into layered combat encounters that will feed directly into 'Blunt Knife,' where the fallout from these battles begins to reshape the battlefield.
