The action scenes in this finale were really good and made it a lot of fun to watch. My favorite part was Jiyu Nanohana and Sai Nanohana’s bond, which added a lot of heart to the anime and made the finale even more satisfying.
I genuinely didn't expect the show to stick the landing this well. The finale delivers some of the best action of the series but the real win is how well it resolves Jiyu's will vs duty conflict. It acknowledges the tragedy without becoming hopeless.
This was an uneven series for me overall. Some episodes dragged, the humor could be difficult to digest, and there were definitely moments where its age showed. Yet the characters gradually became more endearing than I expected, particularly Jiyu and Sai. It may not completely match my taste, but it has such a specific identity that I can understand why it has its audience.
