Finally more insight into Jonah but the emotional scenes don’t hit as hard as they should. The action feels a bit underwhelming, makes it feel like a missed opportunity given the importance of the story. Jonah’s emotional shifts are complex but not portrayed very smoothly (sign)

Yesss, the child soldier finally shows us his life, a kid cold yet kind in this world, just like Koko said. This episode perfectly represents the theme that no matter who holds them, weapons are weapons. It captures that duality of hating to use them but knowing you must.😲

Best episode so far. It was nice getting to know a little about the background from Jonah, it is tragic and makes complete sense with the character
