Episode Context

As the final episode of Stone Ocean's first 12-episode batch, 'Torrential Downpour Warning' serves as a culmination of the prison-set conflicts that have been building since Jolyne's incarceration, directly following the high-stakes courtyard mission in 'Operation Savage Guardian.' It deepens the alliances Jolyne has forged, particularly with Weather Report, while introducing new dangers that reframe the threat landscape. This episode sets the stage for the next batch, which shifts focus to Ermes Costello's personal vendetta in 'Kiss of Love and Revenge.'
