As episode 24 of 24, this is the definitive conclusion to the first season of Stardust Crusaders, wrapping up the High Priestess two-parter that began in the previous episode. The entire season has been building toward the group reaching Egypt to confront DIO, and this finale serves as the bridge, closing out the journey's first leg and setting the stage for the Egypt arc that follows in the second season. It's both a payoff for the long road of Stand battles and a promise of escalation to come.
