Episode Context

Coming off the psychological chess match against D'Arby the Player, this episode pivots sharply into the endgame, the group is deep inside DIO's territory and the encounters are no longer about survival on the road but survival against DIO's inner circle. As Part 1 of a two-parter, it sets up one of the most consequential fights in the Egypt arc, directly preceding the final stretch toward DIO himself.
