Episode Context

Sitting at the midpoint of Battle in Egypt, this episode follows the mentally exhausting D'Arby the Gambler encounter and pivots to a lighter, villain-focused narrative before the final stretch toward DIO's mansion. It's the first half of a two-parter exploring Hol Horse's return, setting up the conclusion in episode 13 while giving the Joestar group a brief reprieve from center stage.
