Yukako getting a proper character arc through the Aya Tsuji beauty salon storyline is great. The Stand here is imaginative and the episode takes a surprisingly sincere look at Yukako's feelings. Character growth for the unhinged queen? Yes please. OwO

Episode Context

Sitting at the midpoint of Diamond Is Unbreakable's 39-episode run, this episode arrives after the conclusion of the Shigechi arc and serves as a deliberate cooldown before the story pivots hard into its central mystery. It introduces Aya Tsuji and her Stand, a piece that becomes directly relevant as the narrative transitions into the Yoshikage Kira storyline immediately after. This is the calm before the season's defining storm.
