Never expected Sitara to confront Sorghatani like that. Also Sitara isn't and cunning and revengeful as I thought, she's emotional and righteous in her own way

Much better payoff. To fall back into encouraging the person you hated. because you couldn't bear them rage baiting you by being weak. Almost as if saying, do not insult the sacrifices you have caused by giving up.

Nobody's talking about how Fatima chose honesty over manipulation this episode. She could have let Sorkhotani break but she goaded her into fighting back instead. That puts her directly in Borakchin's crosshairs and the finale is going to make her pay for it isn't it

Episode Context

Episode 10, "Wisdom," ended with Tolui's shocking fate and an unsettling item passed to Sitara; Episode 11 deals with the fallout inside Ögedei's household. Boraqchin's opposition to Sitara and Töregene hardens as Sitara moves to intervene on Töregene's behalf. The episode sets up the season's final confrontation by bringing Güyük into the conflict and making Sitara's efforts the hinge for what comes next.
