Episode Context

Sitting at the exact midpoint of the 12-episode season, this episode pivots away from Azusa's temporary transformation storyline in Episode 5 to give Laika dedicated screen time, continuing Season 2's pattern of rotating focus across the ensemble cast. It deepens the bonds within the group, particularly Laika's connections, laying groundwork for the character dynamics that later episodes will continue to build on as the season moves into its back half.
