A man versus machine episode. To be honest, if Kawahara and Alice Nakiri were to have a food battle, Alice would win hands down. Kawahara's performance was predictable and boring. After watching his match, I even felt that the flashy guy from the previous episode could have beaten him. On the other hand, the episode gives another glimpse into Jan’s training with his grandfather. It’s another great way of showing just how much Jan’s training has shaped him with this battle.
