A perfectly standard, high-octane mecha conclusion. The final armor battle delivers plenty of massive energy beams and structural collateral damage. Tony's work is complete, job's done. The episode wraps up the geopolitical threads cleanly while giving Tony a solid, quiet character exit.

It was a much antiicipated episode. The series tarted off strong, had a bumpy road ahead of it, yet despite that it still pulled off a solid season finale. The final battle was as just as much a battle of ideals than anything. I had a thought that Blade, Wolverine, and Iron Man were all together in Japan at one particular time, interesting. If only we could have gotten a crossover event featuring the three of them that would have been cool for a final episode, oh well!

An epic finale! This episode has everything you've come to love from the previous episodes: peak set pieces, epic musical scores, and a villain who is presented well without feeling corny or anticlimactic. The final battle is pure cinema and does a great job of bringing the story to a satisfying conclusion. A strong ending that makes binge-watching this series such a joy!
